How To Use a Bitcoin ATM

STEP 1: Create a Bitcoin Wallet

To get started, you need a Bitcoin wallet. If you don’t already have one, create one with the Bitcoin Depot mobile app.

STEP 2: Enter Your Information

At the Bitcoin ATM, start by selecting the amount you wish to purchase. Then, you’ll be asked to enter your phone number, name, and email address.

STEP 3: Create Your Pin

Enter a 4-digit PIN to secure your account. Choose a unique combination that’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.

STEP 4: Provide Your Wallet Address

Manually enter your Bitcoin wallet address from the Bitcoin Depot mobile app or your preferred digital wallet at the kiosk. Alternatively, you can scan your wallet’s QR code, if available.

STEP 5: Complete Your Purchase

Insert your cash into the Bitcoin ATM. Once the transaction is complete, choose print or email for your receipt. Your Bitcoin will arrive shortly; wait times can vary.
